Liège-Bastogne-Liège

Created in 1892, Liège-Bastogne-Liège is the oldest of cycling races, hence its name of the “Doyenne”. It is one of the most prestigious and exacting events of the season: 260 kms bristling with ten formidable climbs, to the delight of cycling fans and TV viewers.
The showcase Liège-Bastogne-Liège embodies the passion of Belgians for cycling. It covers the hilliest part of Belgium, on a typical Ardennes course. The end of this race for complete riders and attackers includes a succession of high-gradient climbs which are part of cycling’s heritage (Côte de Wanne, Côte de Stockeu, la Redoute).
