After a promising first experience in 2004, A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organisation) organises a new meeting in the riding world.
The R.I.D.E. (Rencontres Internationales de Disciplines Equestres) will be organised in Normandy on the beautiful site of the hippodrome of Deauville Clairefontaine from September 20th to 23rd 2007.
The R.I.D.E. is one of the most important meetings of the worldwide riding calendar, benefiting from the support of the French Equestrianism Federation.
Professionals as well as amateurs will be able to follow the only French event which regroups the riders and leaders of the world elite of the 3 main disciplines: jumping, eventing and driving.
For 2007, the Normandy local authorities, who are in the front line with the Region "Haute et Basse Normandie" have come together around this international project.
The strong involvement of the Basse Normandie Region, the first equine Region in France with 3 000 breeders and more than 7 500 jobs, shows its will to welcome the 2014 horse-riding games.
The gathering of the equestrian big sports families for 4 days of competition at a high level will offer to the general public the occasion to discover the universe of the horse.
