What we do

  • Sports

    Internationally recognised competitions

A.S.O. specialises in organising spectacular, high level competitions that remain true to the values of sport. A.S.O. organises no fewer than 30 Cycling, Motor Sports, Golf and Mass Sports events, accounting for more than 200 days of competition every year and attracting over 100,000 professional and amateur competitors. Dedicated sports event teams, sports managers, project managers and sports assistants alike are all 100% committed to giving the best of their expertise to benefit the world of sport.

  • Hospitality

Taking you to the heart of the action

Dozens of hospitality programmes are rolled out at every event organised by A.S.O., who plays host to 50,000 guests every year over its entire events calendar. From views of the legendary slopes of a Tour de France mountain to the greens of the Alstom Open de France, not to mention aerial shots of the Dakar rally in the Atacama desert, guests are plunged headlong into the heart of the action. Guests at these prestigious events are treated to the expertise of dedicated marketing teams (marketing development manager, etc.) and production teams (hospitality project manager, etc.).

  • Sales / Marketing

    Fully customised, tailor-made solutions

When it comes to stealth marketing, sport is the sphere favoured by partners keen to give their image a credibility boost. A.S.O.’s marketing teams provide a comprehensive consultancy service, designing packages specifically suited to each type of event and supporting the 140 or so partners involved in the various competitions, as part of a win-win relationship. A.S.O. has also designed a range of spin-off products inspired by the events it has organised. 25 million spectators travel to watch A.S.O.-run events, with hundreds of millions of others following the action through the media. Our event stores and licences granted worldwide give fans the chance to keep up with the events and the champions they admire so much for years to come. Marketing teams support our partners by using their skills in sales development, customer relations, surveys and merchandising.

  • Media / New Media / Communication

    Live the sport

A.S.O. produces or co-produces 700 hours of programmes, enabling 8,000 hours of sport to be broadcast on 200 channels to 5 billion viewers around the world every year. Teams responsible for partnerships and press relations (media promotion project managers, press officers, etc.) draw up media plans in order to ensure maximum event coverage.

  • Logistics

From the Champs Elysées to the Atacama desert

A.S.O. erects over 20,000m² of venue structures on all types of ground every year, whether in cities or some of the most beautiful deserts in the world. In over 20 countries and for more than 1,000 groups and organisations, A.S.O.'s logistics services provide an effective solution to the constraints imposed by the itinerant nature of the majority of its events. Project managers at A.S.O. implement the right logistics strategies for the event concerned, identifying equipment and materials along with ground and air logistics, as well as selecting and managing service providers.

  • Development

    Towards new horizons

With new events, new sports and a foothold in new countries, the portfolio of activities proposed by ASO is getting longer every year. This growth is in line with the organisation’s pro-active expansion strategy that focuses on international development. Its development teams are specialised in the detailed analysis and study of potential opportunities: concept, business model, strategic relevance, risk evaluation, negotiation with partners etc… After the priority projects are selected, the teams put them into place and follow them up internally from the moment a business plan is selected, up to the point when the new event begins.
